Proclamation Presentation
On April 17, 2024, during a regular Supervisor’s meeting, Chairman Charles Strausbaugh and Vice Chairman Stewart McCleaf presented ABATE members with a Washington Township Proclamation. This proclamation states that in Washington Township, May 2024 is Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month.

Welcome aboard Mr. Daniel DeDona, who was sworn in by the
Washington Township Secretary, Karen Hargrave on January 6, 2020.
He was voted in at the November 2019 election to a 6 year term to the
Board of Supervisors of Washington Township.

On April 6, 2015 Washington Township Supervisor Barbara McCracken was surprised by PA State Representative Paul Schemel with a memorial resolution honoring her late husband, Richard “Dick” McCracken for his public service, including three years on the board of supervisors. June 13, 1948 – February 11, 2015
Ann Backer passed away on February 11, 2015 and our community lost one of its most active community leaders. Ann was involved with RBA, Rouzerville Lion’s Club, Vision 2015, 9-11 Tribute, Chamber of Commerce, Red Run Halloween Express, Santa’s Breakfast, Christmas Parade and many other fund-raisers at Blondie’s.
She will be missed.
